Registered canine participants may join the walk for $20 and will receive an exclusive End Polio Now bandana. Individual donations and corporate sponsorships are also available, with contributions supporting Rotary's ongoing efforts to eliminate polio and credited toward Rotary Foundation giving and recognition.
For more than 45 years, Rotary has been a leader in the global fight against polio. As a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, Rotary has helped reduce polio cases worldwide by more than 99.9%, contributed billions of dollars to eradication efforts, and helped protect more than 3 billion children through vaccination campaigns. Today, wild poliovirus remains endemic in only two countries, Afghanistan and Pakistan, but continued vigilance and funding are essential to ensure the disease never returns. Rotary's End Polio Now campaign continues to support immunization, disease surveillance, outbreak response, and public education efforts around the world.
By participating in the Walk to End Polio™, you are helping finish one of the greatest public health achievements in history. Every step, every donation, and every conversation helps raise awareness and support the final push toward a polio-free world. Together, we can ensure that no child anywhere suffers from this preventable disease again. To learn more about Rotary's global commitment to ending polio, visit EndPolio.org.
