The Rotary Club of Joliet is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Dr. Paul Morimoto Healthcare Scholarship, recognizing three exceptional students who are pursuing careers dedicated to improving the health and well-being of others.
Each recipient has been awarded a $2,618.97 scholarship, which will be applied directly toward their educational expenses.
2026 Scholarship Recipients:
- Lewis University: Obiamaka Chukwurah
- University of St. Francis: Karen Lara
- Joliet Junior College: Emanuella Okine
The Morimoto Healthcare Scholarship honors students who demonstrate academic achievement, commitment to service, and a clear passion for making a difference in the healthcare field. As part of this recognition, scholarship funds are sent directly to the recipient’s institution to support their continued education and training.
