20 Oct. 2026 General Membership Meeting Oct. 20, 2026 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. Event Description The Rotary Club of Joliet is proud to host the Joliet Youth Leadership Seminar, a special program designed to inspire and develop the next generation of community and business leaders. This interactive leadership experience will bring together students, Rotary leaders, and community professionals for a series of presentations, panel discussions, and hands-on activities focused on leadership development, service, communication, and personal growth. Participants will explore: The principles and tools of effective leadership Real-world leadership experiences from business and community leaders Navigating challenges, responsibility, and conflict as a leader The Rotary Four-Way Test and ethical decision-making Opportunities for service through Rotary and Interact The seminar will conclude with a special Rotary Club of Joliet luncheon meeting featuring presentations from local Interact and Youth Leadership participants. Guests are welcome to attend as we celebrate and invest in the future leaders of our community. Optional lunch available.
24 Oct. 2026 World's Largest Walk to End Polio Oct. 24, 2026 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Join Rotary members, families, friends, and community supporters for the Walk to End Polio™ and help Rotary continue its mission to eradicate polio worldwide. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, participants will gather for a fun and meaningful community walk through the beautiful Rock Run Preserve. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps support Rotary's global effort to end polio for good. Event Details Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026 Check-In: 9:30 a.m. Walk Begins: 10:00 a.m. sharp Event Ends: Noon Location: Rock Run Preserve, Black Road Entrance, Joliet, IL Parking: Troy Craughwell Elementary School Distance: Approximately 1.3 mile Participants will park at Troy Craughwell Elementary School and walk to the Rock Run Preserve shelter for check-in and the official start of the event. The route follows designated sidewalks and preserve trails through Rock Run Preserve before concluding at the Black Road Branch Library, where refreshments will be served. Participants will then return to their vehicles at Troy Craughwell. Bring Your Best Friend! Dogs are welcome to participate for $20 per dog, and each registered canine participant will receive an exclusive End Polio Now Bandana.
